We continued our trip: we drove to the Columbia River Gorge. Getting there was simple. However, our navigation system got us stuck in an extremely remote area on a very bad gravel road. Too much faith in TomTom. It took us an hour to get back on track. From there on it was a relaxed stretch to the Gorge. After some confusion on where to sleep, we ended up in Hood River on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge.
