After the hike we got in the car and continued our journey. Next stop was Ruby Beach. Another beautiful beach with that wild pacific shoreline. This beach was easier to get to, and it was a bit busier. But still a very impressive place to visit.
After the beach we drove to our final destination: the Lake Quinault Lodge. A very old lodge (from the ‘30s) in a beautiful setting. We think. That is. we have seen the pictures. But when we were there it was less stunning: rain was pooring down, we couldn’t see the mountains, or even the other side of the lake….
O well, despite the almost continuous rain of today, it has been a very good day.
