Last time we were too late to go, but this time we went there: the famous San Diego Zoo. Located in Balboa park, the zoo hosts many interesting animals, with the Pandas stealing the show. The zoo is huge, and has buses to drive you around, the Skyfari, which takes you from one end of the zoo to the other, using gondolas that fly high above the zoo itself.
The way the zoo is design is what makes the zoo so beautiful. You walk through forests, have to climb hills, can enjoy many cafes and restaurants. It is a place you MUST visit when you’re in San Diego.
After spending many hours in the zoo we went back to the hotel to cool off in the pool. And after that: the gaslamp quarter again. Did we mention San Diego is great…?
