The 17-mile drive is also one of the very few private toll roads. You drive through an area with incredible houses, or better: mansions. at some point you drive past the world famous Pebble Beach golf course. The drive goes back to Monterey, but we got off at Carmel. A place for the rich. Cars we saw: Bentley, Jaguars, Ferrari, Porsches, etc. You get the point. The center is full with galleries and exclusive shops. It is fun to drive around, gaze at the houses, but there is not much to do.
Again, another very nice day. This area is simply beautiful. Too bad we leave tomorrow.
