A sad day: we had to check out of the Hard Rock hotel and we have to leave San Diego. We love this place!
We went to an outlet center doe some shopping and then visited the famous Hotel del Coronado. A very big, stylish hotel right on the beach. After that we decided to go to Mission Beach. We walked along the coast, had ice cream and enjoyed our last moments in San Diego.
Upon arrival in San Francisco Hertz upgraded our car (a Ford Mustang convertible) and the hotel (Marriott) upgraded us to a very large executive room. It is not the same as the Hard Rock hotel, but very nice too.
