Last stop before our hotel was Bodega Bay. Many of the towns we visited have been used in hollywood movies, and so is Bodega Bay. Most famous: “The Birds” from Alred Hitchcock was shot here. But it no longer is town it used to be: it is now the gateway to Sonoma county and full of tourists.
After Bodega Bay we drove to Petaluma, where we booked a hotel for 2 nights. Tomorrow we have a day off 🙂 We will do some wine tasting, shopping and relax next to the pool. At least, that’s the plan. We’ll see.
