Rob had more meetings, and Karin decided to stay in bed a bit lomger and then hit the hotel pool. After Rob got back and lunch at the hotel, we tried to get in touch withe the hotel manager about the theft. Rob changed the car, so we now have a rental car with a navigation system, so the costs are increasing… We did talk to the valet manager, and files a report. We were promised the hotel manager would be available later that evening or else saturday or sunday. Anyway, we got in the car and drove around Silicon Valley. We drove around Los Gatos (very nice), Cupertino, Sunnyvale, etc. But we also drove a bit more south to Gillroy and Morgan Hill. We got a real good impression of ‘the valley’.
Back in the hotel: no manager. This is getting very frustrating and ridiculous. But tomorrow…, yeah, right….
