Winter in Stowe
Yes! It snowed last night. And quite a lot as well!
So, skiing was great today. We went to the mountain quite early, and skied a lot. We did both Mt. Spruce and Mt Mansfield. So we covered a lot of slopes.
Lunch today was at the Octagon Cafe on top of the mountain. Not as busy as the Spruce Lodge, but really good food and a good atmosphere.
Another good thing on this mountain is that the snow is great over here, although the runs are a bit steeper.
All in all it was a great day skiing.
So what more? Well, we checked with the Rusty Nail if we could reserve a table for dinner on New Year’s eve, but they didn’t do that. Oh well, we’ll see what we do tomorrow. Dinner was in our own Inn. And it was actually very good!
We went to bed early because tomorrow is New Year’s Eve, and we want to party…!
