Boston is known for a lot of things. Beer is one of those things. There are quite a lot of micro breweries, but there is also Samual Adams. A brewery that is relatively new, but very successful. And really good tasting as well! Forget about Budweiser, Miller, etc.: take a Sam Adams, this is really good beer!
So, today we went to the orginal Samual Adams brewery for a tour through the brewery. This was a fairly short tour, but a lot of fun. And the tour ended with the possibility to taste some of the beers they brew. 2 beers ththey normally brew, and one experimenal beer, that may or may not be part of their regular beer production.
After the brewery tour we went to another mall, because Karin wanted to go to another Levi’s store for new jeans, and I still needed a new wintercoat. We drive to Natick, where there is a big mall. The trip took quite a long time because of the busy roads. Of course we forgot that today was shopping madness, just before christmas. It turned out that all the roads to the big malls were full. And there was actually police at the malls to regulate the parking! Total madness.
We both succeeded at the mall, so it was worth the trouble!
